Eagle Ridge Academy is a Tuition-Free Classical, College-Preparatory Charter School serving students and families in grades K-12. Eagle Ridge offers an academically rigorous education that uses a time-tested, Classical, liberal arts curriculum.

Eagle Ridge Academy seeks a well-spoken individual with a gift for teaching who is passionate about the mission, philosophy, and pedagogy of Eagle Ridge Academy. Qualified applicants will have the ability to develop positive rapport with students, parents, and colleagues. They will have knowledge of particular learning styles along with the skill to meet the academic, social, and emotional growth needs of elementary-aged children.

• Provide EL push in and/or pull out instruction to students.
• Train, coordinate and administer EL assessments.
• Maintain database of EL and EL-eligible students.
• Assist in developing language acquisition support plans (EL plans) for all EL students and work with classroom teachers to implement plans.
• Work with classroom teachers to support differentiated instruction.
• Assist in developing appropriate curriculum to help EL students acquire the English language.
• Participate in in-service and staff development activities and staff meetings as required or assigned.
• Attend IEP, Section 504, or other related meetings necessary for student assessment and/or compliance with federal and/or state law.
• Oversee ELD progress monitoring
• Provide training and coaching for EL and general education teachers in effective EL instruction

This position requires an EL teaching license.

Bachelor's degree and applicable MN teaching license. Desire to teach using the classical education model.

Salary Range: $41,273 - $78,100
Job Type: Full-time, 186 days
