Educational Assistant

Eagle Ridge Academy is a tuition‑free classical, college‑preparatory charter school serving grades K‑12 in Minnetonka. The Academy offers an academically rigorous, time‑tested classical liberal arts curriculum. We are seeking a well‑spoken individual with a gift for elementary school teaching, who is passionate about the mission, philosophy, and pedagogy of Eagle Ridge. Qualified applicants will create positive rapport with students, parents, and colleagues, be aware of different learning styles, and meet the academic, social, and emotional growth needs of elementary‑aged children.

• Assist with educational activities in the classroom.
• Prepare instructional aids, games, and bulletin boards for the classroom teacher as needed.
• Provide teacher with feedback on student progress.
• Perform various administrative tasks within the classroom as needed.
• Reinforce and support students in upholding behavioral expectations.
• Support academic and social growth of students in individual or small group settings.
• Respond to student situations to resolve immediate safety concerns.
• Administer tests, homework, make‑up work, etc., to support students in the classroom.
• Collaborate with teacher(s) or other staff to communicate information and resolve issues.
• Supervise students on buses, before and after school, lunch, recess, field trips, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
