The Lead Preschool Teacher is a full-time, on-site role based in Minnetonka, MN. This educator designs and implements developmentally appropriate lesson plans and classroom activities that foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Daily responsibilities include guiding small and large group learning, managing classroom routines, and creating a warm, inclusive environment where each child feels safe and valued. The Lead Preschool Teacher observes and documents children’s progress, communicates regularly with families, and collaborates with colleagues and support staff to align curriculum and classroom practices.
The role also includes preparing classroom materials, maintaining a clean and safe learning space, attending staff meetings and professional development, and following all licensing and school policies.
Bet Shalom Yeladim is an early childhood education program that provides a nurturing, play-based learning environment for young children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Part of the Reform Jewish synagogue Bet Shalom and located in Minnetonka, MN, the school emphasizes social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through developmentally appropriate practices. Educators partner closely with families to build a welcoming, inclusive community grounded in respect and cultural awareness.
