Lead Baking Class Instructor

Lead engaging, hands-on baking classes. Select appropriate recipes, prepare materials, and facilitate individual Bake & Take sessions with the Adult Program Manager.

• Select appropriate baking recipes that align with participant skill levels
• Review and test recipes ahead of time and make appropriate adjustments
• Assist with prep work the weekend before classes
• Assist in setting up and cleaning up before and after classes
• Facilitate sessions by demonstrating techniques, providing support and creating a welcoming environment
• Monitor kitchen and food safety
• Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for participants of all baking levels
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism

• Experience with baking
• Previous experience leading groups, teaching or facilitating programs preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage a group in a hands-on environment
• Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and food handling
