Junior Swim Instructor
The Junior Swim Instructor is an entry-level role designed for individuals interested in learning how to teach swim lessons. In this position, you will train alongside experienced instructors, assist with class activities, and help ensure a safe, positive environment for all participants. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while developing teaching and water safety skills. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist lead instructors during swim lessons with instruction, organization, and participant support
- Help set up and clean up equipment before and after lessons
- Provide encouragement and basic guidance to swimmers under instructor supervision
- Observe and learn teaching techniques, class management, and water safety skills
- Support swimmer safety by following all pool rules and emergency procedures
- Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, including with participants, families, and staff
- Maintain a positive, approachable, and energetic attitude

Minimum qualifications:
- Must be at least 14 years of age
