Position Overview
We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our Civil team. The role involves design, analysis, and construction support for various infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities- Use AutoCAD Civil 3D for analysis and design of roadways, trails, sidewalks, water main, sanitary and storm sewer systems, and site improvements.
- Use Microsoft Excel to develop project bid item tables, quantities, and cost opinions.
- Prepare construction plans and specifications, site plans, grading and drainage plans, studies, and reports for a wide range of public and private infrastructure systems.
- Assist as a Field Engineer or survey crew during construction of various projects.
- Manage work activities, team responsibilities, and report status to supervisor and team members.
- Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Required:
Ability to collaborate in‑office a minimum of three (3) days per week. - Required:
Ability to travel as needed for team meetings, client consultations, on‑site inspections/visits, etc. - Required:
Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Preferred:
Zero (0) to Two (2) years of experience in the Civil Engineering field. - Preferred:
Previous experience or training with AutoCAD Civil 3D. - Preferred:
Previous experience and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word). - Preferred:
Previous Civil Engineering or construction experience including internships. - Preferred:
Ability to read, comprehend and interpret engineering plans and topographic maps.
Position available to candidates residing in Minnetonka, MN. Candidates in the following states (AK, AR, CA, CT, DE, HI, KY, MA, RI, VT, PR) are not eligible. Relocation is available for willing candidates.
CompensationBase compensation expected in the range of $60,000 – $80,000 per year based on skill set and experience.
