ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Commercial Quality Assurance Associate III is responsible for reviewing commercial loan documentation to ensure accurate and complete closing packages relative to credit approvals, documentation standards, processes, and regulatory compliance. Review of loan documentation occurs prior to loan closing to ensure the loan fulfillment process is duly authorized and completed accurately and completely. The incumbent is responsible for presenting documentation errors or deficiencies for resolution and correction.
Post-closing this position will provide commercial portfolio management, and onboard necessary tracking items for the relationship. This position will also conduct post-closing review tasks to ensure accuracy of tracking systems, coding, risk ratings, annual review tracking, and perfection review. The position is expected to perform job functions within service level agreements to meet client’s closing expectations and deadlines. This position is considered a subject matter expert in in-house and legally prepared loan packages.
The incumbent of this position will be responsible for writing procedures and training team members.
- Review drafted loan documentation packages for accuracy and completion relative to credit approvals, documentation standards, process requirements, and regulatory compliance.
- Read and review the credit approval and various borrower and collateral due diligence documents and the commercial loan origination system data inputs to assess accuracy of documentation package.
- Confirm accuracy of loan agreements and guarantees relative to required monitoring and covenants.
- Communicate any documentation or system inaccuracies to the appropriate team members.
- Onboard necessary tracking items.
- Commercial portfolio management, including but not limited to, insurance follow up, annual review file preparation, and paid loan processing.
- Confirm accuracy of core and tracking items.
- Perform perfection review.
- Write procedures and train as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent experience in the financial industry.
- 5-7 years of commercial loan documentation experience.
- Prior experience in a quality control review function of loan documentation preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office utilizing proper ergonomic safeguards when doing so. Additionally, the employee must occasionally lift or move supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
BASE PAY RANGE:$27.00 - $38.00 per hour
