Senior Accountant​/Senior Financial Analyst

Our office is located in Minnetonka, MN. Candidates must reside in the Twin Cities area and will be required to be in‑office five times per week.

The Senior Accountant/Sr Financial Analyst is responsible for various corporate accounting functions and serves as the finance business partner to the Agency and Sell Check (SC) businesses.

• Analyze revenue and expense postings, comparing monthly actual to budget; record accruals or deferrals using Net Suite Revenue Recognition.
• Record monthly journal entries for corporate accounting functions, including treasury, prepaids, accruals, and fixed asset management using Net Suite FAM.
• Prepare miscellaneous P‑card transactions for US/Canada locations and conduct final coding review for Staff Accountant card transactions.
• Evaluate workflow processes and recommend procedural or system changes to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze expenses for cost‑saving opportunities to drive value.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts as assigned and assist with preliminary and annual audit.
• Support timely and accurate month‑end close process.
• Perform other accounting or reporting duties as assigned.

• Develop and maintain financial reports to analyze and communicate drivers of operational and financial results for SC and Agency.
• Analyze financial results on a recurring and ad‑hoc basis to provide insights into performance drivers.
• Collaborate with functional teams weekly, monthly, or as needed for financial guidance.
• Track sales commissions for specific plans and produce weekly forecasting and reporting for Revenue/GP for Sell Check.
• Maintain Net Suite for new projects and opportunities concerning Sell Check and Agency.

• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Strong written, oral communication, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Independent problem‑solving ability and strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with general ledger software and journal entry preparation and posting.

• Minimum of 4 years accounting and/or finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience plus education.
• Experience with account reconciliation and reporting analysis.
• Experience with ERP Systems, preferably Net Suite.
