Resident Assistant​/Caregiver Maplewood, MN

National Home Healthcare is seeking compassionate and reliable Caregivers to join our team in a cozy, 5-bed assisted living home. You’ll provide hands-on care and companionship to our residents, helping them live with dignity and comfort.

• Help clients take prescribed medication

• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the facility

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

• Help clients with physical therapy exercises

• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the Dietary Manager

• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own

• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Minimum of six months as a caregiver.

• Experience in an Assisted Living preferred

• Must be able to pass a background check with MN DHS.

• Reliable transportation required.

• Compassionate about the care and well-being of others.

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language adequately to respond to individual's needs.

• Ability to see and hear to communicate effectively.

• Ability to lift to 50-75 pounds, which includes transferring individuals.

• Ability to perform delegated nursing tasks as assigned.

• Ability to respond to emergencies in accordance with procedures and guidelines.

• Ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, reach, push and pull.

Please note: Medical insurance is not currently offered for hourly Caregiver positions.

We are looking for a RA to fill the following shifts, Friday
- Sunday:

Friday: 3:15PM- 11:15PM

Saturday & Sunday : 7:15AM- 3:15PM and/or 3:15 PM - 11:15 PM

Location: Must be able to commute to or relocate to Maplewood, MN before starting.
