As a Technical Solutions Architect within an IT services environment, you will design, present, and oversee the implementation of scalable, cloud-native, and automated solutions for enterprise clients. You will serve as both a trusted advisor during pre-sales and a technical leader during delivery, ensuring client success through high-impact architecture and hands-on expertise.
Responsibilities- Partner with account teams to understand client needs and recommend tailored, service-based solutions.
- Lead client discovery workshops and define scope, architecture, and delivery approach for Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Develop and present solution designs, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts aligned with client goals.
- Respond to RFIs/RFPs with accurate effort estimates, timelines, and team structures.
- Participate in client briefings, user groups, and vendor events to establish technical credibility and thought leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing and practice leaders to create reusable assets: solution briefs, blogs, and reference architectures.
- Provide insight into competitive solutions and emerging technology trends to strengthen our market position.
- Oversee architecture implementation across multiple client engagements, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
- Provide hands-on guidance to delivery teams on cloud, Dev Ops, and automation best practices.
- Design and implement solutions leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, and container platforms such as Open Shift, EKS, and AKS.
- Drive infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Git Ops (Flux/ArgoCD), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Support delivery of modern application architectures (microservices, APIs) across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead architectural reviews and quality checkpoints to ensure delivery excellence.
- Mentor consulting teams and contribute to internal knowledge sharing, playbooks, and IP development.
- Continuously research and apply innovations in cloud, Dev Ops, and platform engineering to improve service offerings.
- 5+ years of experience delivering technical solutions in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and Git Ops practices.
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to balance strategic architecture planning with hands-on engineering execution.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and collaborative across technical and non-technical teams.
