Position Overview

The Systems Integration Tester will be responsible for planning, implementing, testing, documenting, and maintaining solutions for the integration and testing of both developed and Commercial off‑the‑shelf (COTS) or Government off‑the‑shelf (GOTS) components. This role involves synthesizing customer requirements into effective test solutions while ensuring adherence to technical, schedule, and cost constraints. The engineer will coordinate testing activities, perform analysis of test results, and prepare evaluation reports to validate system performance, contributing to the success of the mission.

Activities
  • Develop improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations.
  • Support the analysis of test results and the resolution of open issues.
  • Perform required procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the accuracy of products and production equipment.
  • Conduct system audits to assess control and manage risks of production quality.
  • Work with the software development team to ensure quality standards are in place.
  • Document issues and report them to team lead or management.
  • Perform workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.
  • Report progress on problem resolution to management.
  • Perform other tasks as required by OSC program management.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge of system integration testing concepts, tools and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of system architecture and system-to-system interactions.
  • Ability to execute test cases and document results.
  • Ability to identify and communicate system defects.
  • General knowledge of some programming languages (Node.js, Java, .NET).
  • Knowledge of various programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, etc.
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented, collaborative environment, develop strong working relationships across organizations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
  • Two or more years’ related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience using Agile principles (systems/software development life cycles).
  • Demonstrated experience conducting end-to-end Automated Testing of large or complex information systems.
  • Must have and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
  • Must have a valid SEC+ Certification.
