The Role:

APPLIED’s technology team is looking for a highly motivated individual looking to support our end users while also contributing to our department growth via strong work ethics, appetite for change and growth, and customer satisfaction.

Our service orientated focus will lend an exceptional work experience for an individual who wants to impact our staff with outstanding deskside capabilities, solution development, and a hunger to identify service opportunities for department and organizational success.

With an aptitude for process and analytics, this team member will have an opportunity to influence the trajectory of our team and aid us in becoming a world class IT organization.

Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, this team member will have a direct connection to IT leadership allowing them to bring new ideas, fresh perspective, and impactful change.

This is an on-site role in Minnetonka, MN. Only local candidates will be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front line ticket resolution and support for staff.
  • Coordinate the setup process for new hire and ensure on-time delivery of systems.
  • Set up end user hardware, such as workstations, tablets, and peripherals.
  • Forecast technology support needs and manages device inventory accordingly.
  • Under the direction of the IT Operations Supervisor, execute, document, and improve upon existing IT processes.
  • Serve as a power-user for enterprise applications and serve as a resource to assist other employees.
  • Support and adhere to all safety procedures and complete all required safety training.
  • Identify and support improvement opportunities for processes to support company objectives and customer expectations.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • HS diploma or equivalent required, Associate's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience working in a corporate IT role required.
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in an admin role or admin rights management required.
  • A passion for technology and positive outlook.
  • Familiarity with Windows 11 OS and iOS mobile devices.
  • Ability to follow, document, and devise processes.
  • Willingness to travel to different IT sites, as needed.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Comfort working with users in a hybrid work environment.
  • Can-do attitude with a team first orientation, Service Oriented approach required.
  • Deep familiarity w/ Microsoft O365 products, including SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, and InTune preferred.
