ABOUTTHE ROLE
Our client is seeking a skilled Software Engineer specializing in AI and Machine Learning to join their team in Hartford, CT or Eden Prairie, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and retraining machine learning models—including GenAI models such as Gemini and GPT-4, as well as traditional NLP and deep learning models. You will work closely with AI Architects, Cloud Engineers, and CRM Development Teams (such as Salesforce) to ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and ethical integrity of AI systems.
The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy professional with a deep understanding of machine learning technologies, a collaborative and solution-oriented mindset, and a strong commitment to ethical standards. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting, system documentation, providing technical guidance, and staying current with advancements in AI/ML technologies. Experience with CRM platforms, healthcare payer enterprises, and knowledge of data privacy regulations are considered advantageous.
YOU'LL DO
- Collaborate with AI Architects, Cloud Engineers, and CRM Development Teams to design and implement machine learning models and systems.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain GenAI models (e.g., Gemini, GPT-4) and traditional NLP/Deep Learning models.
- Retrain and optimize existing machine learning models to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Evaluate machine learning models for performance and adherence to ethical standards.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Provide technical support and guidance to development teams on machine learning-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machine learning systems; conduct regular system tests to ensure functionality and efficiency.
- Document all procedures and systems related to the machine learning infrastructure for future reference and audits.
- Support the training and upskilling of team members on machine learning technologies and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role in the industry.
- Strong knowledge of GenAI models (e.g., Gemini, GPT-4) and traditional NLP/Deep Learning models.
- Proficiency in Python development.
- Experience with AI technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams (engineers, architects, developers).
- Commitment to maintaining ethical standards in AI/ML work.
- Machine Learning certifications (nice to have).
- Experience in Healthcare Payer enterprise (nice to have).
- Proficiency in CRM platforms, such as Salesforce (nice to have).
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and practices (nice to have).
- Experience training team members on ML technologies (nice to have).
- Strong communication and project management skills (nice to have).
