Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager, Supply Chain to join the Audio Video Division in Minnesota.
This role is a key member of the AVD Operations Finance team and serves as a strategic finance partner to Supply Chain, Sourcing, Transportation, Warehousing, and Operations leadership. This role provides financial leadership for material productivity, tariffs, transportation spend, warehousing costs, intercompany pricing, inventory management, cycle count compliance, and cross-functional operational projects. The position develops actionable insights, financial models, and business cases that improve profitability, working capital, operational performance, and decision quality.

Salary Range:
The expected salary range for this position is $130,000 to $150,000 annually.

Responsibilities

DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Partner with Sourcing and Supply Chain leadership to identify, validate, and track material productivity initiatives and measurable savings targets.
  • Support supplier negotiations, value engineering, sourcing optimization, and cost reduction programs through financial analysis, margin evaluation, and business case development.
  • Monitor and analyze purchase price variance (PPV), material cost trends, supplier-related cost drivers, and project savings; clearly communicate risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
  • Lead financial analysis of tariff exposure, tariff rate changes, duty impacts, and related budget or forecast assumptions; partner with Supply Chain, Sourcing, and Finance leadership to quantify risks, opportunities, and mitigation actions.
  • Provide finance support for transportation and freight performance, including carrier cost trends, mode optimization, freight recovery, service-level tradeoffs, and productivity initiatives.
  • Analyze warehousing and distribution cost drivers, including space utilization, labor productivity, storage costs, handling costs, and network decisions that impact cost-to-serve.
  • Lead financial analysis related to inventory levels, inventory turns, excess and obsolete inventory, reserve requirements, and working capital performance.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain teams to optimize inventory investment while supporting customer service and operational requirements.
  • Maintain and support strong internal controls related to inventory, including compliance with cycle count and physical inventory policies across AVD sites.
  • Analyze cycle count results, identify recurring variances or process gaps, and partner with site teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Support internal and external inventory audits, including count procedures, reconciliations, valuation support, audit schedules, and timely remediation of findings.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and analysis of intercompany pricing structures in coordination with Finance, Operations, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Serve as finance lead for strategic Operations and Supply Chain projects, translating operational assumptions into financial impacts, risks, and recommendations.
  • Lead scenario planning and post-implementation reviews to confirm that project assumptions and expected benefits are achieved.
  • Support budgets, forecasts, long-range planning, and monthly reporting related to material productivity, tariffs, transportation, warehousing, inventory, sourcing activities, and operational projects.
  • Ensure accurate Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reporting within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Use SAP and other reporting tools to improve visibility, standardize reporting, automate recurring analysis, and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Act as a strategic thought partner who constructively challenges assumptions, balances multiple priorities, and influences decisions without direct authority.
