Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to join our Solar team. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects for Westwood. They will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. The Project Manager will also provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing complex and/or multi-service projects. You will ensure the successful completion of projects within scope, schedule, and budget, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and delivering high-quality results. In addition, you will provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and collaborate with service leads to coordinate project activities. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Full accountability on multiple storage projects:
- Manage stakeholder relationships, both internal and external.
- Coordinate and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement project plans, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed.
- Oversee project work and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and contractual obligations.
- Track project health and take corrective action when necessary.
- Manage uncertainty and change, such as scope creep and change orders.
- Ensure timely invoicing and accounts receivable collection.

- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to manage staff and direct resources effectively
- Ability to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage design projects in a profitable manner
- Understanding of alternative delivery methods
- Extensive knowledge of geometric design and other related design elements
- Knowledge and experience with the full roadway project lifecycle from preliminary studies through final design
- General knowledge of construction with experience providing construction phase services
- Track record of successfully winning and delivering projects
- Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, and overall duties involved in managing a design team
- Experience preparing proposals, scopes of work and qualification packages
- Experience developing and implementing marketing pursuit strategies
- Ability to develop relationships with peers, clients, and public agency staff.
- Ability to coach and motivate others
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or project management related field
- 5-7 years of experience in a project coordinator or similar role
- Professional licensure in a technical field or ability to obtain PMP certification
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
