DescriptionThe Assistant Project Manager supports project execution on multiple construction projects, managing daily tasks with oversight from a Senior PM or Director.

- Develop, review and finalize construction documents for entitlement, permitting and construction. Maintain an adopted ownership mindset throughout the design and construction process.
- Scope, Source, and contract professional service agreements for design and engineering.
- Manage schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, permits, and invoices.
- Coordinate design drawings for procurement of structural steel with Supply Chain Manager.
- Coordinate subcontractors/vendors; ensure compliance with contract requirements.
- Communicate weekly project status to stakeholders.
- Maintain project logs and documentation accurately and on time.
- Update and review project tracking software & file structure.
- Proper management of all billable hours in labor tracking system.
- Audit document management services and creation of files for internal communication, and standard operating procedures.
- Support client communication, progress reports, and site meetings with senior staff. Provide transparent and proactive communication through all stages of projects.
- Responsible for project management metrics tracked on weekly basis.
- Assist with procurement, pay apps, and closeout documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Construction, field or office (2-4 years).
- Project Management (2 years).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, Procore, and Bluebeam.
- bachelor’s degree (preferred) in one of the following or related areas:
Construction Management, Real Estate, or Urban Planning. - OSHA 30 preferred.
- Driver's License (Required).
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Moderate travel required.
