We are seeking an experienced Regional Director to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across a growing group of early childhood education schools in Minnesota.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced ECE operator who enjoys developing people, improving business performance, building strong school cultures, and creating exceptional experiences for children and families.
The Regional Director will partner closely with school leadership to ensure each school is safe, thriving, well-staffed, financially healthy, compliant, and delivering an exceptional experience for families.
This position currently supports five schools in the Minneapolis area, with the opportunity to influence operational strategy and organizational growth across the market.
What You'll Do- Provide leadership, coaching, and operational support to school leadership teams across five or more locations.
- Develop and coach high-performing School Directors and leadership teams.
- Ensure schools are safe, well-staffed, financially healthy, and operating at a high level.
- Oversee school financial performance, budgeting, profitability, and key operational metrics.
- Drive enrollment growth, family satisfaction, retention, and overall school performance.
- Ensure consistent execution of company standards and early childhood education best practices.
- Maintain strong compliance with state licensing requirements, company policies, and applicable employment laws.
- Provide behind-the-scenes operational planning and support for inspections, self-reviews, deadlines, events, and other critical initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement practical solutions.
- Monitor performance, establish accountability, and ensure leaders follow through on commitments.
- Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, organizational initiatives, and market growth.
- Serve as a mentor and resource to school leaders, helping them solve challenges and develop their teams.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, people-focused culture across the market.
- Step in to support school operations when needed, including assisting in classrooms, food service preparation, or other school functions.
We are looking for a proven multi-site ECE leader who can balance people, operations, customer experience, and financial performance.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, Education Leadership, or a related field preferred.
- Early Childhood Education experience is required.
- Proven experience managing multiple early childhood education locations.
- Experience overseeing at least five units/locations, ideally for three or more years.
- Experience with P&L management, budgeting, financial performance, and operational metrics.
- Demonstrated success recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining strong leadership teams.
- Strong understanding of customer service and family experience.
- Ability to regularly travel between assigned schools.
- Must reside in Minnesota. Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate.

The five schools are located within approximately 30 minutes of one another in the Minneapolis area, allowing for efficient support across the market.
The Regional Director will be expected to be on-site approximately four days per week during the first 60 days to build relationships, understand each school, and establish strong leadership routines.
As teams and operations become stable, the schedule may transition to approximately one to two days per week on-site, with flexibility based on business needs.
Regular travel between assigned schools is required.
