Manufacturing Engineer (Contract)

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Contract with a client in Minnetonka, MN
. Candidate must have strong capability in supporting new product launches as a frontline Manufacturing Engineer, working closely with assemblers and technicians to resolve equipment and process issues.

Rate Range: $35/hour to $37/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Support frontline manufacturing activities by assisting assemblers and leading technicians in troubleshooting equipment and resolving daily process issues.
• Drive continuous improvement by recommending and implementing enhancements to processes, tooling, and equipment for improved safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Guide production personnel through assembly and testing procedures while ensuring training, certification, and adherence to clean‑room manufacturing standards.
• Investigate quality or yield‑related problems by performing scrap dissections, analyzing root causes, and initiating corrective actions.
• Interpret test data to evaluate product performance, summarize findings, and communicate results effectively across shifts and functions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support new product introductions, process development, and manufacturing readiness.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, biomedical, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing engineering environment.
• Strong capability in supporting production operations, troubleshooting process issues, and driving yield or quality improvements.
• Experience implementing process enhancements, supporting new product introductions, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a clean‑room or regulated environment.

Pay: $35.00 to $37.00 per hour.
