The Production Trainer is responsible for developing and implementing training systems to support manufacturing and business operations. This role focuses on identifying training needs, improving quality systems, and implementing efficient training technologies. The position also supports cross‑functional projects, resolves system issues, and ensures consistency across processes while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement training systems by identifying training needs, researching options, and recommending effective training methods.
- Maintain and enhance quality systems by identifying, isolating, and resolving issues within existing processes.
- Analyze customer feedback and automated systems to improve process performance.
- Communicate certification and training needs by reporting personnel training and knowledge gaps.
- Recommend solutions to address training and knowledge gaps within manufacturing teams.
- Introduce training system upgrades by implementing efficient technologies and methods across the organization.
- Collaborate on global initiatives and cross‑functional projects.
- Support business processes outside of manufacturing by promoting system consistency and providing innovative solutions.
- Troubleshoot automated systems by identifying issues, researching solutions, and coordinating system updates when required.
- Plan and organize project assignments with varying complexity.
- Maintain project schedules and milestones while establishing task priorities.
- Solve complex problems requiring interpretation of procedures and practices.
- Select appropriate methods and practices using creativity, initiative, and independent decision‑making.
- Propose solutions and make independent decisions related to project execution.
- Develop and implement projects from concept through completion.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong understanding of business concepts, procedures, and functional practices.
- Ability to interpret advanced data, present documentation, and perform detailed analysis.
- Ability to work within a quality system environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Experience performing complex assignments requiring independent work.
- Ability to design, develop, or modify process‑specific procedures.
- Strong problem‑solving ability with initiative and creativity in troubleshooting.
- Experience recommending improvements for continuous quality enhancement of work methods.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate’s degree or some college credits preferred.
