Advertising Art Director

This in-house Advertising Art Director role sits in Minnetonka, MN on a hybrid schedule, with a salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, reporting to the Creative Director.

As the Advertising Art Director, you will shape brand storytelling and visual direction for the US Yogurt portfolio across all channels, guiding work from concept to final execution.

• Develop concepts and design brand experiences across broadcast, PR and earned media, experiential, digital, and social channels (owned and paid).
• Concept and pitch culture-defining, integrated campaigns that elevate the brands on a national scale.
• Ensure cohesive integration of core brand creative, campaign messaging, and strategic point of view in all work.
• Collaborate with copywriting and bridge thoughtful communication with design to produce clear, impactful work.
• Direct the visual approach for major national broadcast spots, high-budget lifestyle photography, and experiential activations, working with top-tier directors, production houses, and crews.
• Oversee freelancers and external partners to maintain brand quality and consistency across outputs.

• Award-Winning Mindset: work recognized by Cannes, One Show, Clios, Pencils, or actively shaping national cultural conversation.
• Big Brand Fluent: ability to manage large budgets, direct expansive productions, and guide a brand with broad consumer reach.
• Degree from a nationally recognized portfolio school or equivalent university communications program (examples include VCU Brand Center, Miami Ad School, SCAD, Stan Richards School UT, SI Newhouse School Syracuse).
• 7+ years crafting high-profile, integrated advertising campaigns.
• Proven track record within world-class, creative-first advertising agencies.
• Portfolio demonstrating big-budget, national consumer brand work across Broadcast, Earned, Experiential, and Digital.
• Ability to generate distinct ideas from consumer insights.
• Impeccable design sense, meticulous attention to detail, and strong cultural awareness.
• Experience with effectiveness tools and metrics (pre-post testing, brand lift studies, MMMs).
• Paid social experience across META, Pinterest, and Reddit.
• Strong time management to prioritize and meet deadlines within set timelines.
• Ability to collaborate in a team while also delivering independently.
