White Earth Tribal and Community College (WETCC) is seeking interested applicants to serve on the Board of Trustees (BOT). The BOT serves as the body of official policy making and is responsible for effective governance, policies, and procedures of the College.
ResponsibilitiesThe BOT is comprised of nine members, 7 voting and 2 non‑voting. At least 6 of the 7 voting members must be an enrolled member or lineal descendant of the White Earth Reservation, and fit into one of the following categories:
- Bachelor's degree (Category
2) - Involved with Indian Education (Category
3) - Associated with public education (Category
4) - An Elder (Category
5) - At large from the community (Category
6) - College Alumnus (Category
7)
The service term for a Trustee is a three‑year commitment with regular monthly meetings. The position is strictly on a volunteer basis.
