Havenwood of Minnetonka is recruiting for a hospitality focused Support Nurse, RN to join our team! This position provides direct nursing care to residents and delegates and supervises the care provided by our Resident Care Associates.

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000/year

Schedule: Full-time, days

Daily Responsibilities of a Support Nurse, RN
  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL's), family/social activities and actively promote independent life-style of residents as needed.
  • Responsible for identification of resident medical and behavioral changes and the development and monitoring of care plans and re-assessment of each resident.
  • Provide daily report to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and needs for nursing supplies.
  • Provide nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
  • Ensure preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents and assists in the coordination of nursing care with care rendered by other disciplines.
  • Participates in resident care conferences as needed.
  • Participates in the orientation of new nursing department personnel.
  • Assist with direct resident care including bathing, feeding, making beds, toileting, answering call lights and transporting residents to appointments and activities as needed. Participates with and encourages resident engagement in activities.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from accredited Nursing program.
  • Currently licensed RN with the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
  • Currently CPR certified.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ experience in memory care preferred.
