Server​/Culinary Assistant

Opened in 2018, Amira Choice Minnetonka is a 100‑unit community that offers Independent and Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Our beautiful location is just minutes from The Ridgedale Mall, St. Louis Park, and near Highways 394 and 494 while close to public transportation. We are looking for a Server/Culinary Assistant to join our team! This role is responsible for dining room food/meal service to our senior age residents and maintaining supplies in the kitchenettes for our Senior Assisted Living Community, located in Minnetonka, MN. This nutrition services schedule includes:

• 16 hours per two weeks
• Day/Evening shift
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation

• Serves prepared meals to residents and ensures the dining area is clean and inviting
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and happiness with their meal service
• Sanitizes equipment, work areas and maintains supplies
• Assists with meal prep and special events
• Provides kitchen support when needed with dishwashing and cleaning of floors
• Answers phones and communicates requests appropriately

• No previous experience required, but prefer work experience in a customer service setting
• Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor required
• Desire to work with seniors
• Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff

An individual's pay rate within the posted range may be determined by various factors, including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
