Class III Cook Manager at Minnetonka Middle School East, 7.5 hours per day

• Supervise the daily meal preparation and service in accordance with Federal, State and local safety and sanitation regulations.
• Collect information and maintain operational records, including daily food production records, inventory records, daily temperature logs and quality assurance forms.
• Provide supervision over the kitchen staff, including completing performance reviews, approving timesheets, maintaining absence logs, inspecting work stations, and training new staff.
• Work alongside kitchen staff including food prep, servings, cashiering and end‑of‑day tasks.
• Oversee the receiving, storage, and ordering of the building’s food and supplies.
• Attend monthly Team Leaders' meetings.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.

• MN Department of Health Certified Food Protection Manager Certificate or ability to obtain within 90 days of hiring date. Must maintain.
• Membership in School Nutrition Association (SNA) and Level 4 completion within 90 days from date of hire. Must maintain.
• Two years work experience in school food service or a related food service operation.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Evidence of good organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with coworkers, supervisors, and the general public.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 40 pounds, as assessed through a pre‑placement physical at Concentra.
