Color Mixer Specialist (Part‑Time)

Store #3423, 4901 County Road 101, Minnetonka, MN 55345
Starting Pay: $16.68/hr or based on relevant experience (Hourly)

Color Mixer Specialists tint and mix paint to customer specifications, work closely with wholesale and retail customers, answer product questions, and recommend solutions. They maintain product quality, visual standards, and store presentation, and consistently meet sales goals. The role may involve handling minors, cash, and electronic equipment and is subject to criminal history review.

• Prepare customers' paint orders quickly and accurately.
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications.
• Prepare drawdowns for customer submittal.
• Clean, fill, and repair equipment.
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Clean store equipment.
• Load/unload delivery trucks and assist deliveries.
• Assist customers in person or by phone to determine needs and present products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and in accordance with policies.
• Maintain in‑stock and presentable condition of assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
• Suggest ways to improve sales.

• At least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in future.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Current or former Sherwin‑Williams employee must have a "meets expectations" (3) rating on recent performance appraisal.
• Current or former Sherwin‑Williams employee must have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses for the position.

• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• High School diploma or GED.
• At least one (1) year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
• Previous experience selling paint and related products.
• Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in more than one language.
• Proficiency in Spanish.
