Job Description for the Medicare Sales Agent position in Minnetonka, MN (2368328).
Job OverviewThis role focuses on consulting customers on their insurance needs and matching them with the most appropriate products and benefits. You will handle inbound calls, guide members through enrollment, and work towards sales goals while maintaining compliance with state insurance licensing requirements.
Work Schedule & LocationOperating hours:
Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 7:00 pm local time. Rotational weekend work during training.
Full‑time position with seasonal flexibility. After successful training (6–10 weeks onsite) the role offers a hybrid model—up to three days per week remote.
Primary Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls from prospective members, determine assistance needed, and convert the caller to a qualified lead and sale.
- Follow up on member questions and review existing or new products and services.
- Navigate multiple computer systems to document member information while engaging actively with members.
- Explain product portfolio differences and help select products that meet member needs.
- Assist in completing the enrollment application over the phone, ensuring compliance with product requirements and enrollment guidelines.
- Meet performance, attendance, and consumer‑experience goals set for the position.
- Maintain agent licensure and product‑certification requirements.
- Work remotely for up to three business days per week after the training and nesting period.
- Competitive base salary with monthly sales incentive earning potential.
- Sign‑on bonus of up to $3,000 for external candidates.
- Base pay + sales incentive; average annual earnings $50 k – $65 k. Top performers can earn $80 k +.

- High School Diploma or GED, or 4+ years of customer‑service/sales experience.
- Within 30 days must obtain all required state insurance licenses (can be completed during training).
- Ability to work regular scheduled shifts, including training, with flexibility for overtime and weekends.
- Must reside within commuting distance of the Minnetonka, MN office.
- Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications; ability to learn new complex systems.
- Flexibility to adapt approach to diverse caller communication styles.
