Heavy Equipment Operator AGS Crane

Rainbow Treecare (a division of Rainbow Companies) is seeking an energetic and hard‑working individual to join our team as an Articulating Grapple Saw Crane Operator
. This is a full‑time, weekday position with overtime available. Your work location will be out of one of our three locations:
Minnetonka, Little Canada, or Burnsville.

• Safely drive and operate trucks and cranes with a maximum GVW of 72,000 lbs for the Pruning Division and our grapple loader.
• Understand the hazards associated with storm‑damaged trees and perform removals using heavy equipment such as cranes.
• Execute daily tree‑care operations both on the ground and aloft.
• Report training, safety needs, or any other concerns to the general foreperson.
• Adhere consistently to safety procedures and use required safety equipment, ensuring the safety of self and others.
• Perform manual labor including loading and unloading trucks and assisting maintenance and forestry crews on site.
• Promote a culture of safe work practices and promptly report safety issues to the appropriate staff.

• Class D driver’s license and a commitment to safe driving.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of field and equipment‑operating experience.

• 3+ years of field and equipment‑operating experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification achieved within six months of hire.
• Class A combination license with air‑brake endorsement.

Work is performed outdoors in any weather condition across urban and rural areas. Tasks involve bending, reaching, stooping, and lifting objects; exposure to safety hazards and hazardous tools and equipment. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at any given time. Safety precautions, including the use of protective equipment, must always be observed.
