Senior Software Engineer, People Soft and Oracle Cloud HCM Integration

Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer for Integrations, you will be a leading expert within a team of highly skilled software engineers and analysts focused on integrating data between Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management and People Soft HCM. Working together with this team, our customers, and our partners, you will implement integration solutions to meet critical business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert performing integration development and implementation
• Perform detailed analysis using your deep People Soft HCM and People Tools knowledge
• Code/develop/configure robust, configurable, and scalable solutions that fulfill customer needs and resolve user issues
• Ensure non-functional requirements are incorporated into solutions such as performance and availability
• Conceptualize integration solutions to make both large and small improvements to the Human Capital integrations landscape
• Understand functional requirements and business needs and fully incorporate them into high-quality, low-defect solutions
• Support functional and technical testing
• Plan and execute deployments and releases
• Implement and support data transmission solutions using modern technologies including APIs
• Analyze behind the scenes data using SQL and your advanced HCM knowledge
• Utilize application of modern software engineering practices to ensure high-quality solution outcomes
• Create reusable, shared code whenever possible
• Quickly identify defect root causes and drive towards resolution
• Uses critical thinking mindset to ensure all possible outcomes are accounted for in preventing operational issues (I.e. failure points)

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree

• Expert level knowledge of People Soft HCM data structures
• Expert level knowledge of using SQL with People Soft HCM
• 5+ years of technical experience with People Soft HCM and Core HR
• 5+ years of People Tools experience including extensive use of Application Engine
• 5+ years of hands-on SQL development experience
• 2+ years of Oracle Cloud HCM integration development experience with HCM Extract
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM Core HR data structures

Preferred Qualifications

• Expert level knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM Extract
• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) as well as using PLSQL with OIC
• Experience with and knowledge of APIs, SFTP, SOAP, REST, and other data integration technologies.
