Job Description

Focus on customer and desired business outcomes in the design and build of solutions

Write, debug and test code to create working solutions

Understand and apply unique programming/scripting languages specific to software engineering

Consider security, scalability, reliability & feasibility in solution design

Consider integrations and impacts on other systems in deployment of solutions

Continually seek out opportunities to automate solutions

Apply modern practices, e.g., Dev Ops, Agile, Cloud, ATDD etc.

Develop self-documenting functions, API’s and/or micro-services

Leverage modern components, tools and technologies to design decoupled, modular, flexible solutions

Build and support ATDD/Agile development and continuous integration; continuous delivery environment (CICD)

Proactively manage and monitor the operational characteristics of software solutions. Ensure coding practices adhere to ensure no vulnerabilities based on practices/guidlines

Write/document as needed capabilities/features/user stories, play Scrum master role, etc… jack of all trades

Designs, builds, tests and adapts solutions that optimize environment and meet evolving needs of customers and business, leveraging and anticipating modern technologies, e.g., AI/ML, to support the transition to full stack proficiency

Skill Set

• XX+ years of overall IT experience, XX+ years of relevant development background
• XX+ years of Experience in FACETS applications custom functions development and testing – Claims processing Applications, Membership, Provider etc.
• XX+ years of design and Development Experience in Oracle, PL/SQL and Java, Kafka, C#,.NET.
• Hands on experience in the structure and significance of HIPAA X12 EDI transactions like 834, 837, 277CA, 835, etc.
• Good understanding of PS, Fed, Payer, and Medicaid/Medicare line of business

Tools - Tri Zetto Facets Ver 6 and above, Facets Web Interface, Jenkins, Facets HIPAA gateway, Easy Group, DROOLS, Oracle, SQL Developer, MS Office etc.
