Occupational Therapist (OT)
We are hiring for a great client in Minooka, IL. This is an on-site contract opportunity for an Occupational Therapist (OT) who will provide therapy services to students to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional independence within the school environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services aligned with IEP goals
- Support students with sensory integration, motor coordination, and adaptive skills
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement classroom strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide progress updates
- Maintain accurate documentation and service logs
- Recommend adaptive equipment and modifications as needed
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active IL OT license
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseload effectively
