Security Officer - Plant Entry Control

You will help manage access control by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing badges, and documenting entries. You will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $20.81 / Hour

• Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and employees by following site-specific security procedures and access control policies at entrances, gates, and/or lobbies.
• Control access to the location by checking identification, issuing temporary credentials as directed, maintaining visitor logs, and directing individuals to appropriate check-in areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and foot traffic, including delivery and shipping activity, and report suspicious or unusual activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications and supporting emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeter to identify and report hazards, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations.

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
