Security Officer - Flex Officer

Position: Security Officer - Flex Officer - Open Availability
Allied Universal - Up to $17.50/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors and/or vendors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and emergency response activities as needed.;
Control access at entry points for a logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, processing visitor check-in, issuing badges and/or passes, and maintaining access logs.;
Screen and direct inbound and outbound truck traffic by confirming appointments, checking shipping documentation when required, and coordinating with site contacts to route vehicles to the proper docks and/or staging areas.;
Monitor cameras, alarms and other systems, report irregular activity, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, trailer yards, dock areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to document observations per post orders.
