Service Technician

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SERVICE TECHNICIAN IN MINOOKA, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Service Technician to join our team in Minooka, Illinois. This position is perfect for mechanically inclined individuals who enjoy troubleshooting, repairing, and refurbishing household appliances. As a Service Technician, you will inspect returned products, perform repairs, replace defective parts, and ensure appliances meet quality and safety standards before they are restocked or redistributed.

• Starting at $21.50/hour, paid weekly
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Full time, Monday through Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm
• Located in Minooka, IL

• Inspect returned household appliances, including washers, dryers, and refrigerators, to identify defects or damage
• Repair or replace defective components using standard hand and power tools
• Clean, refurbish, and prepare appliances for resale or redistribution
• Track inventory, document completed repairs, and update unit statuses using basic computer systems
• Ensure all refurbished appliances meet company quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Previous appliance repair or warehouse experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills for documenting repairs and inventory
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to lift, move, and position household appliances as needed
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
