Bobcat Diesel Technician

Atlas Bobcat is seeking a Bobcat Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain Bobcat skid-steer loaders, excavators, and compact equipment for construction, landscaping, and industrial clients. Responsibilities include troubleshooting diesel engines and hydraulics, performing preventive maintenance, completing warranty and field service work, and accurately documenting all repairs. You'll work in a safety-conscious, customer-focused, team environment with opportunities to grow your technical skills and product knowledge while supporting a leading Bobcat dealer in the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana markets.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems on Bobcat equipment
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on skid-steer loaders, excavators, and compact equipment
• Complete warranty and field service repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot issues
• Document work performed, parts used, and labor times accurately in work orders
• Communicate repair recommendations and status updates to service advisors and customers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following company safety procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet service deadlines and customer expectations
• Participate in ongoing technical training and certifications on Bobcat equipment
• Assist with equipment inspections and pre-delivery setup as needed
