Warehouse Worker - Dock Worker - 2nd Shift

Overview

Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse dock associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.

• $22.50 per hour
• 2nd Shift: M-F 4:00 PM–8:30 PM

• Follow all safety requirements
• Stage and sort products for loading
• Load and unload trailers in a safe manner
• Open and close dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Operate electric pallet jacks as needed
• Scan freights and parts

• Warehouse experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently and in a customer‑service oriented manner
• Strong multi‑tasking, organizational, and time‑management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule and at the specified location
• Must complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and a drug screening

• Recognize and comply with safety instructions and guidelines
• See and verbally communicate effectively; requires close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustments
• Move frequently, stand, walk, and sit throughout the shift
• Use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and roll with arms and hands; reach with arms and legs as needed
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg); occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg)

$22.50 per hour (2nd Shift: M-F 4:00 PM–8:30 PM)
