Fresh Loading Manager

We are seeking a Fresh Loading Manager to oversee daily warehouse loading operations and provide leadership support within the department. This role is responsible for supervising warehouse associates, shipping staff, and office clerks while ensuring store departures, productivity, quality, and sanitation standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse leadership experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.

• Manage warehouse associates, shipping staff, and office clerks within the department
• Conduct roll call and complete daily scheduling/timekeeping
• Report attendance issues and maintain communication regarding staffing needs
• Work closely with dispatch and yard personnel to coordinate dock doors and trailer movement
• Assign duties to employees and schedule break periods, work hours, and vacations
• Conduct employee evaluations in accordance with company HR policies
• Support warehouse supervisors and staff with departmental procedures, policies, and job duties
• Address customer concerns, review discrepancy reports, and assist with resolutions
• Delegate loading and down-stacking assignments
• Maintain sanitation practices throughout the warehouse and office areas
• Supervise adherence to load seal policies
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
• Work closely with staff to ensure quality and productivity expectations are met and communicated
• Remain flexible to work any shift based on business needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Excellent communication skills and strong leadership ability
• Self-starter with the ability to implement and supervise warehouse data entry processes
• High level of computer literacy, including MS Office, Excel, and WMS systems
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage and lead a diverse workforce

• At least 2 years of warehouse supervisory experience
  , preferably within the wholesale industry

• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs
• Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods
• Ability to climb stairs as needed
• Distribution center environment with varying temperatures
