Warehouse Associate - Minooka RDC - 2nd Shift

Minooka, IL | Pay: $21.00 per hour | Shift: 2nd Shift (11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday–Friday)

Contract:

90‑Day Contract to Direct Hire. Average hours per week: 35–38. Interview type:
Per the manager’s request. Holiday and PTO are offered.

Responsible for performing assigned warehouse activities for picking, packing, shipping, receiving, reverse, and inventory control, put‑away while achieving the highest standards of Quality, Productivity, and Customer Service levels to automotive retail centers. Picking and packing automotive parts; comfortable lifting 50 lbs and open to operating equipment such as stock chasers (stand‑up tugger). Uses handheld RF scanners.

• Maintain strict compliance with all established policies and work rules.
• May be required to use powered industrial equipment to perform assigned tasks.
• Obtain and maintain required certifications and adhere to all Federal, State, and local laws.
• Process shipment of federally regulated Dangerous Goods if necessary.
• Meet and maintain required performance levels (quality, productivity, etc.) within the area of assignment.
• Comply with the company’s Value‑Added Production System (VPS) within the assigned area.
• Maintain essential supplies on assigned equipment and/or work area.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment is always maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the group’s supervisor.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous logistics or distribution experience required.
• Knowledge of the general warehouse industry, best practices, and techniques.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management System functionality – SAP preferred.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to obtain all Dangerous Goods Certifications.
• Fluent in English.
