Senior Accountant​/Tax Advisor

Pinnacle Tax Group is looking to add an experienced Senior Accountant/ Tax Advisor with the drive to continually develop and improve, a commitment to helping others and a focus on providing excellent client services. This full-time professional will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from individual and business tax preparation to planning and consulting, so a self-motivated, customer-oriented, team player is essential.

• Reviewing and signing individual and business tax returns for clients
• Communicating with clients, including in personal meetings, to consult on tax matters and for tax planning
• Helping to resolve issues/questions with the IRS on behalf of clients
• Assisting the team on advanced bookkeeping and tax preparation cases.
• Performing special tax projects and research activities as tax issues arise
• Assisting with training and mentoring employees
• Participating in community events to network with potential clients and promote the firm

• Proven work experience as an accountant and in tax prep (at least 5 year preferred)
• Current CPA or Enrolled Agent credentials
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with superior attention to detail
• Integrity with an ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and accuracy in all aspects of work
• Must be located within commuting distance of Minot, ND or willing to relocate within commuting distance before starting work
• Pay: $85,000.00 - $ per year
