Support U.S. service members and their families during critical life transitions. This role supports the Military & Family Readiness Center (M&FRC) by providing front-desk service, administrative support, and accurate data entry for the Air Force Transition Assistance Program (TAP). This is more than administrative work—it’s service with impact.
Location: Minot Air Force Base, ND
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday (Approx. 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.)
Pay: $25–$36/hour plus SCA-required Health & Welfare benefits, paid as cash and applied toward fringe benefits
Status: Contingent upon government contract award
Responsibilities- Provide professional front-desk support, including screening calls, greeting visitors, and routing inquiries.
- Prepare, review, and proofread routine correspondence, reports, and administrative communications.
- Use office software and databases to create, manage, and report information, including TAP data in AFFIRST and related systems.
- Maintain calendars, track suspense items, and flag scheduling or deadline conflicts.
- Manage electronic and physical records in compliance with Air Force policies; serve as Records Custodian for the M&FRC.
- Prepare time and attendance records, coordinate office supplies, and support administrative operations.
- Assist with training materials, basic system troubleshooting, and handling of sensitive information in accordance with security requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office applications, with experience creating, formatting, editing, and maintaining documents, spreadsheets, and electronic records.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and data accuracy, with at least 2 years of administrative, clerical, or data entry experience (or equivalent education/training).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide professional, courteous customer service to a diverse population.
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential, and personally identifiable information with discretion and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with military environments, terminology, or Air Force programs is preferred but not required; willingness and ability to learn program-specific systems and requirements is essential.
- Ability to pass background check and obtain base access.
We are preparing to support the U.S. Air Force’s Transition Assistance Program (TAP) at Minot AFB and are building a strong candidate pool ahead of a potential federal contract award. Candidates who express interest early and meet qualifications will be well positioned as staffing moves forward. Those selected will complete a brief pre-approval process, sign a Letter of Intent, and be submitted for formal consideration once the contract is awarded, with final hiring aligned to government approval and onboarding requirements.
