Job Summary
North Central Behavioral Health Clinic, part of the ND Department of Health & Human Services, is seeking an Administrative Assistant – Client Access in Minot, ND. The role involves welcoming callers and walk‑ins, connecting them to the right resources, and providing front‑door and administrative support to clients.
Responsibilities- Welcoming callers and walk‑ins and connecting them to the right resource.
- Providing administrative support including scheduling appointments, answering incoming calls, and accepting payments.
- Providing back‑up coverage for the business office, which involves working with insurance portals, collecting demographic information, and completing proper documentation for client charts.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Three years of experience performing a variety of complex office support, clerical, or secretarial work. Additional education with major coursework in office support or business may substitute for up to two years of the experience requirement on a year‑for‑year basis.
- Valid driver’s license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new hire orientation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to remain composed in challenging situations and work well with a wide range of personalities.
ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position requires working on site at the North Central Behavioral Health Clinic in Minot.
