Overview
Role focused on capture management and business development within the defense or security domains. This position involves developing capture strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring effective transition from capture to proposal while aligning with customer priorities.
Responsibilities- Develop capture artifacts such as capture plans, call plans, competitor analysis, and preliminary win strategies.
- Support customer engagement efforts, including shaping outreach, gathering customer insights, and participating in customer meetings alongside account leadership.
- Develop win themes, discriminators, and teaming strategies.
- Partner with solution architects and subject-matter experts to translate customer needs into viable technical and management approaches.
- Support the development of pricing strategies with guidance from pricing and finance teams.
- Coordinate and lead gate reviews, status briefings, action tracking, and documentation throughout the capture lifecycle.
- Identify potential teammates and subcontractors and help manage teaming documentation.
- Facilitate the transition from capture to proposal, ensuring alignment with win strategy and customer priorities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of capture processes, tools, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute captures in a fast-paced and high-stakes environment.
- 5+ years of experience in capture management or business development within the defense or security domains.
- Experience with DoD acquisition processes, customer missions, and the federal procurement environment, including FAR and DFARS.
- Experience in supporting or contributing to proposals or capture efforts.
- Experience with preparing capture materials or customer engagement documents.
- Ability to analyze customer data, competitor information, and market trends.
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent pursuits and thrive in a fast-paced and high-stakes environment.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience developing and maintaining effective internal and external business relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Experience successfully capturing large and strategic opportunities.
- Knowledge of the U.S. defense ecosystem such as programs, acquisition pathways, procurement trends, and key decision makers.
- Ability to display expertise in the business development lifecycle and solution selling methodologies.
- Ability to communicate multi-step and interdependent activities to capture teams and ensure efficient execution of captured efforts.
- Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills.

CompensationCompensation and benefits reflect the role and market. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800 to $257,000 (annualized USD). This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
Work ModelRemote:
May require in-person work at Booz Allen or a customer facility on occasion.Hybrid:
May require working from a Booz Allen facility frequently, with possible visits to customer facilities.Onsite:
Work primarily at a Booz Allen office or customer facility.
