Construction Project Manager

Mattson Construction has been setting the standard for quality construction in Minot and all over North Dakota for over a hundred years. The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from start to completion. This position ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents, company standards, and applicable regulations.

• Manage all phases of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, staffing, and closeout.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Review project plans, specifications, contracts, and submittals.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor progress.
• Process change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure quality workmanship.
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery schedules.
• Resolve project issues, delays, and conflicts in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate project records and reports.
• Ensure projects are completed according to specifications and customer expectations.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management is required.
• Equivalent construction experience may be substituted for education.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with project scheduling software and Microsoft Office. Procore experience is essential.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
