We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly skilled Superintendent to join our energetic team. This role is crucial in driving our construction projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader, capable of coordinating multiple teams, managing subcontractors, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage work schedules for all construction phases, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Create accurate cost estimates for labor, supplies, and materials, keeping a close eye on budget constraints.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met.
  • Hire, supervise, and manage subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project goals and quality standards.
  • Oversee contract management, ensuring all contracts are correctly administered and fulfilled.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies to minimize project risks.
  • Maintain rigorous quality control procedures, ensuring all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring all financial objectives are met.
  • Oversee project scheduling, coordinating all activities to ensure smooth progress.
  • Implement and enforce safety management protocols, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  • Lead and motivate teams, fostering a positive, productive work environment.
  • Manage all project materials, ensuring they are correctly stored, distributed, and accounted for.
  • Oversee all aspects of new construction projects, from initial planning to final completion.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a construction management or superintendent role.
  • Proven experience in work scheduling, cost estimation, and project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage subcontractors and contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, quality control, budgeting, and safety management.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with a proven ability to motivate and manage teams.
  • Strong understanding of materials management and new construction processes.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in construction software and technology.
  • Certifications in safety management, risk management, or related areas are a plus.
