Overview

First Baptist Church (fbcminot.org) is seeking a full-time Worship Director/Pastor.

Position Details

Title: Worship Director/Pastor

Primary Function: Lead and oversee the Worship Ministry, ensuring a spiritually rich, engaging, and cohesive worship experience across all services and media platforms. Responsibilities include leading worship, volunteer coordination, media oversight, and other duties to meet spiritual needs.

Major Responsibilities:

This is a full-time role.
Assist in developing and producing weekly worship services, leading worship at both contemporary and traditional services, and organizing services around specific themes.
Coordinate personnel involved in services, manage rehearsals.
Recruit and train worship team volunteers, develop creative service elements.
Oversee the Tech Team, maintain technology, manage media volunteers, and provide basic tech support.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Organizational Relationship: Reports to the Executive Associate Pastor, works closely with pastoral staff, office administrator, and oversees Worship and Media teams.

Qualifications:

Must be a born-again believer committed to Christ, evangelism, and discipleship.
Experience in worship leadership, volunteer management, proficiency in media/technology.
Pastoral or seminary background is beneficial.
Must be a team player, promote unity, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Educational qualifications: an undergraduate degree preferred but not required.
Open to male and female applicants.

Performance Standards: Effective leadership of worship and media ministries, recruitment, training, and ensuring engaging worship experiences.
