Position Information
The ND Center for Persons with Disabilities at MSU is recruiting students to serve as ASTEP Peer Mentors for Fall and Spring, 2026-27. ASTEP (Advancing Students Toward Education and Employment Program) is a 2- to 3-year transition and postsecondary education program for students with intellectual disabilities (), providing them with the opportunity to achieve their goals in an inclusive and supportive college environment.
The PEER MENTOR positions are held by university students who support students with all areas of the program based on their needs. The roles of a PEER MENTOR include academic support, job coaching, social support, and independent living skills training, assisting students with integration into an inclusive campus environment.
