YourRole as a Senior Civil Engineer – Land Development
In this leadership‑focused position you will take the helm of our land development civil engineering team, leading strategic initiatives and fostering key client relationships across our North Dakota offices. You will be responsible for managing multiple municipal, rural, and industrial projects while overseeing business development efforts that drive regional expansion. Your technical proficiency in land planning and development will be coupled with proactive client engagement, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
As the primary point of contact for clients, you will maintain strong relationships and ensure satisfaction while mentoring team members to promote their professional growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field (essential).
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering and project management, preferably within the AEC consulting industry.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in a U.S. state, with the expectation to secure licensure in North Dakota promptly.
- Self‑starter who can energize and motivate a diverse team while building strong, lasting client relationships.
- Proficiency in project management software, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, organizational, written and verbal communication abilities.
- Sound technical fundamentals encompassing hydrology, hydraulics, creative engineering design, and problem‑solving skills.
