Position Overview

Full‑Time Transportation Engineer to join our onsite team in Minot, Williston, or Fargo, ND.

This role offers a dynamic environment where you tackle real‑world challenges using Open Roads technology alongside the DOT and stakeholders. Salary: $75,000 to $105,000 annually

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement transportation projects, including roadways, highways, bridges, airports, and transit systems.
  • Develop transportation plans, prepare construction documents, and analyze traffic flow patterns for safety improvements.
  • Coordinate with contractors and public agencies, conduct site inspections, and ensure design accuracy.
  • Contribute to technical reports and proposals for clients.
  • Lead project tasks that visibly impact both urban and rural areas.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related discipline with emphasis on transportation.
  • Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification, with expectation of obtaining a North Dakota PE license within 12 months or already holding a license.
  • 3‑6 years of transportation or civil engineering design and consulting experience.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and Open Roads Designer.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze and model traffic flow patterns and develop innovative infrastructure solutions.

Employment is contingent upon successfully passing pre‑employment screenings in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
