Pay: $70,000 - $100,000 Per Year

We're looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused service writer to join our team. You'll be the first point of contact for our valued customers, acting as a liaison between them and our mechanics. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy-duty trucks, excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone
• Actively listen to customer concerns and accurately assess repair needs
• Schedule service appointments and effectively communicate estimated timelines
• Create and manage repair orders, ensuring accurate information and clear communication with technicians
• Obtain customer authorization for repairs and provide detailed service cost estimates
• Provide regular updates to customers on the progress of their repairs
• Process payments and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the repair process
• Maintain accurate customer records and shop documentation

• 2+ years of experience in a service writer role, preferably within the heavy-duty truck industry
• Strong understanding of heavy-duty truck operation and repair procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport and resolving customer concerns
• Proficient in computer skills, including experience with service management software (CDK or similar a plus) and Microsoft Suite
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workload, and manage deadlines effectively
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

• Full Time
• No Weekends!
• 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday through Friday
• 40 hours per week
