Join our home health and outpatient teams as a part-time Speech Language Pathologist and create your own schedule!
What the position looks like:The SLP will be conducting appropriate evaluations, assess home environment (as appropriate), identify equipment needs relative to speech/language function, identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care to improve patient’s function, administer speech therapy program utilizing specialized therapeutic technique and/or equipment, and recommend communication devices/aids as indicated. Confer with the attending physician and other organization personnel to support coordinated and comprehensive care that contributes to the total plan of care, participate in case conferences, in-services, and other meetings required to support coordinated and comprehensive care, prepare and submit notes per organization policy, and identify patient and family/caregiver needs for other services and refer as appropriate, and other duties as required to facilitate the delivery of speech language pathology services.
What you will need:- Speech Language Pathologist License current and in good standing with the state of employment
- CPR certification (we will provide if needed)
- PTO
