Senior Network & Telecom Engineer; Cisco & Fiber

We are seeking an experienced Network Support Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco networking and fiber infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, troubleshooting, and deploying network and telecom infrastructure across enterprise environments. This role requires hands-on experience with network hardware, structured cabling, site support, and IT/Telecom technologies while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with company standards.

Key Skills

• Cisco networking (routing, switching, firewalls, WiFi)
• Fiber optic and copper cabling installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
• Network hardware racking, stacking, cabling, decommissioning, and IMAC activities
• Service Now incident management, network troubleshooting, DNS lookups, switch port identification, and console/remote support
• IP Telephony (IPT), VSAT, RF, microwave, cellular (4G LTE/5G), LoRaWAN, and IIoT/OT systems

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience supporting and managing network infrastructure and network-related devices
• Experience with site services support, network device maintenance, and Smart Hands support
• Hands-on experience installing, removing, swapping, and troubleshooting network equipment and power connections
• Experience supporting LAN, voice, fiber, telecom infrastructure, and structured cabling environments
• Ability to follow change management, risk management, safety, security, audit, business continuity, and disaster recovery procedures

Additional Skills

• Experience with CCTV, PAGA, Intercom, Fire/Intruder Alarm, and specialty telecom systems
• Ability to identify communications room environmental issues and support third-party vendors onsite
• Experience working with engineering teams, service desk, operations center, telecom providers, and managed service providers
• Experience supporting capital projects, merger/acquisition activities, and participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
